Day One Arrive into
Arusha arrival point. Meet and transfer to accommodation followed by
pre-adventure briefing Karama Lodge (Dinner)
Day Two After a
leisurely morning, we travel north into the Maasai areas of Northern
Tanzania. We are met by the warriors and elders and join them in traditional
dancing and drumming. Lunch is served for all and we continue in the
trance-like style of the Maasai. Karama Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day
Three Depart
after breakfast with picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park for game
viewing. Tarangire is famous for huge elephant herds, amazing birdlife and
baobab trees - all thriving along the banks of the great Tarangire River. We
continue on to our campsite.

Day Four
We climb into the Crater Highlands and stop for an essential view across the
Ngorongoro Crater - the magic of the caldera below to Oldupai Gorge where
the Leakey family in their search for the origins of mankind found the skull
of ‘zinjanthropus’ believed to have lived over 1.5 million years ago.
Continue to Serengeti National park for game viewing. With its wide-open
spaces & diverse wildlife population, the Serengeti typifies everyone's
version of ’dream Africa'. Arrive at Serengeti Camp (Breakfast, lunch,
dinner and overnight)
Day Five
Breakfast & you will have morning & afternoon game viewing
drive to look for the resident wildebeest herds & also drive along Grumeti
River where large Nile crocodiles moving with surprisingly speed and stealth
lie in wait for the wildlife coming to drink at the river. A spectacular sight is the “kopjes”, large granite rocks that
rise like islands from a sea of grass and provide shelter to wildlife and
plants; people too lived here and left interesting traces of their presence.

An early departure allows us to explore the areas around Ndutu or Gol Plains
before arriving at our camp on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for a sunset to
remember.

Day Seven
Breakfast with picnic lunches descend through the early
morning mist into this 2000 ft natural amphitheatre formed by the
collapse of an extinct volcano; host to the “Big Five” lion,
buffalo, elephants, rhino and if you are fortunate, leopards. This
caldera is home to 120 species of mammals and various habitats and acts
similar to an oasis, with fresh water springs bubbling year round.

After breakfasts depart to Arusha the day which you will visit craft market
exploration. And after lunch, the luxury of a full body massage is bestowed
upon Kili Explorer - a great way to absorb the peaceful surrounds at Karama
Lodge (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Transfer to Arusha departure point for your journey beyond…. Kili Explorer
